Kyrgyzstan tour 3

We would like to offer this tour for people who have transit from Chinese - Kyrgyz border - Torugart Pass and then to Bishkek City (the Kyrgyz capital). While traveling you will see the renowned caravanserai of Tash - Rabat that was built inside a mountain and you will also have time to relax in the calm environment of Son - Kul Lake. During your tour main part you will have a possibility to live in the beautiful places that are completely remote from the busy civilization.

You will be picked up by your guide at Torugart pass and after passing all custom formalities then you will start your trip to Tash Rabat. Tash - Rabat is caravanserai (Stone Castle from the 14th century) on the Great Silk Way. Tash - Rabat is located at the very heart of Tian - Shan Mountains. This construction is an exceptional one and it has no analogue in the world, for the reason that it was made of stones and what's more it was built inside a mountain at a height 3200 m. a. s. l. Overall there are 31 rooms with the central domed chamber in the mountain. The walls thickness is 1 m. There are also underground prisons for medieval culprits. Near Tash Rabat caravanserai, in yurts you will spend the night. Yurt is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with thin felt mats. Yurts are built without nails. At 7 p.m. traditional dinner will be served. 

We start our drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul Lake after breakfast. On the way we will stop to have a lunch. Son Kul Lake is situated at the altitude of 3013 meters above sea level; it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan. The lake surrounded by the high mountains. The Kyrgyz started to come to this wonderful area with their families for rest and relaxation. The herders of the Naryn region, who are the nomads, come to the lake to use it as a pastureland during summer months. Upon our arrival, you will be free to take pleasure in the virgin nature of the lake and discover its environs. Dinner and overnight are in the yurt camp.

 

Breakfast is at 9 o'clock in the morning. After breakfast you will have a free time to discover the local nature on your own. Optionally, you can ride along the lake on a horse, or just have a rest in the atmosphere of the wild, but calm nature of this beautiful lake. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture.  At 2 p.m. lunch will be served. After that you will have an excursion to the ancient petroglyphs that appeared in the 8 c. B.C. Traditional dinner will be served in the yurt camp. You will spend this night as nomads do, in yurts.

 

You can go on walking today along the lake or around your yurts camp. Son Kul Lake is situated at the place that is completely out of the civilization. It is a perfect chance to feel as if you are one thousands years ago among nomads... For the duration of this day you will feel an absolute freedom, because there is no traffic, TV set, radio, crowds of people.   

 

You will have drive to Bishkek city - the capital of celestial Kyrgyzstan after breakfast. During the whole trip you will see remarkable mountain views. You will see magnificent Boom gorge and its turbulent Chui River that flows down along the whole gorge. Upon your arrival in the capital you will be accommodated in your hotel and then we will have a dinner. 

 

This day you will be transferred to Ala-Archa Natural Park to have an excursion there. This place is located 45 km. from Bishkek - capital of Kyrgyzstan in the gorge of Ala-Archa, on the Kyrgyz Ala - Too Range (Tien-Shian spur). This gorge situated at the altitude of 2100 m a. s. l. and is one of the most stunning Kyrgyz gorges, because it has fur tree and juniper forests, mountain river that mover down the gorge, cascade and snow white peaks of the surrounding mountains. You will have a track to Ak-Sai cascade, it takes about 5-6 hours. From the path you could see one of the Kyrgyz range highest peaks - Ala-Archa (4000 m). You will have your lunch nearby cascade. After that we will descent to the gorge. Trip back to Bishkek. You will spend the night in the hotel***.

 

You will be collected by your guide from the hotel at the pick up time arranged previously according to the details of your flight and accompanied to the Airport of Manas.
