For those people who adore horse riding we want to present this tour. It is a great chance to live among nomads in places that are so far from civilization. For the period of this tour you will visit the celestial lakes of the republic. In diverse gorges of Kyrgyz Republic that are so famed among travelers you will also ride a horse.
Tour summary:
Day 1: Bishkek - Karakol
By your guide you will be collected from Manas International Airport. Transfer from the airport to Bishkek takes half an hour. Upon arrival you will start the day with a nice breakfast. Afterward you will be transferred (200 km) to the second largest alpine lake in the world - celestial Issyk Kul Lake (1608m.a. s. l.). We will visit Burana Complex en route - the minaret that dated11th century A. D. and open air museum of stone warriors - Balbans. We will continue our trip to the lake after having taken a traditional lunch. The lake is also called "The Pearl of Tien - Shan Mountains". Issyk - Kul Lake possesses curative properties due to the salty water. In Cholpon - Ata that is on the northern shore of Issyk - Kul Lake you will also have an opportunity to visit ancient stone carvings (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum of Issyk - Kul. At 8 p.m. is your dinner. For additional price you could have a folk performance. Overnight stay is in the guesthouse in Karakol town.
Day 2: Karakol - Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley
At 8 o'clock in the morning is breakfast. This day is entirely devoted to a guided city tour in Karakol. During this sightseeing tour you will visit the Dungan mosque, which was built without using a single metal nail in the Chinese Style. This will be followed by the Holy Trinity Cathedral visit. You will visit the museum of N. M. Przewalski soon after. N. Przewalski is one of the world's greatest explorers, whose main achievements were the discovery of more than 4000 species of animals, including the horse that was later named after him and the crossing of the great Taklamakan Desert. After city tour you will have a traditional lunch. At 1 p.m. we leave Karakol town and start our (70 km) trip to the remarkable valley of Chong Kyzyl Suu. We will stop in Jeli Suu, at the place of the mineral sources of hot water, where you will have the possibility to take a have a bath. On the way you will see also red mountains in different fantastic shapes. After that is one hour horse riding tour to Chong Kyzyl Suu Physical and Geographical Station. Dinner will be served at 8 p.m. This night we will spend in the yurt camp. "Yurta" is a collapsible dwelling, an original nomad's habitation. It represents a wooden frame that is covered with felt. The yurt's carcass is manufactured without nails.
Day 3: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Ashu Tor - Chong Kyzyl Suu (6h)
We will leave the yurt camp at 9 a.m. after breakfast and start our horse riding tour to Pass Ashu Tor (2800m. a. s. l.). After your lunch on horses you will have an ascent to the amazing mountain lake that finds its origin in the glacier. We come back to the station after admiring the views of the mountain lake. You might see mountain goats with a bit of luck. Overnight stay is in yurts. Dinner is served at 8 p.m. "Yurta" is nomadic collapsible habitation that is made out of wooden frame and covered with thin felt mats. The carcass of yurt is manufactured without a single nail.
Day 4: Chon Kyzyl Suu - Jumakuchak
From Kichi Kyzyl Suu valley via the small Jumalai pass we continue our (6h) horse riding tour to Jumakuchak, where we stop to have a lunch. There is a stunning view on the sparkling Issyk-Kul Lake surface. You will have a chance to explore its virgin nature on your own. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 o'clock in the evening. Overnight stay is in Jumakuchak in the tent camp among the yurts of the Kyrgyz nomadic people.
Day 5: Jumakuchak - Kok Terek village
Breakfast is8 a.m. After having breakfast, you will get on your horse to have 6hours ride from Jumakuchak to Kok Terek Village. You will see a picturesque mountain waterfall en route, and the red cave that is called "500 rams". You will have your lunch nearby cascade. This cascade is situated in the vicinity of hot springs (40 degrees Celsius), which are also possible to visit if you wish. After having a rest we keep on our way to the village of Kok Terek. Dinner is at 8 o'clock in the evening. This night will be spent in the home stay.
Day 6: Kok Terek - Bishkek
At 8 o'clock in the morning your breakfast is served. Pack your baggage. Today along the southern shore of the famous Issyk-Kul Lake you will be transferred (380 km) by car to Bishkek. You will arrive in Bishkek around at 7 p.m. In the hotel **** you will have time for yourself until your pick up. At 8 o'clock you will have a farewell dinner in a café.
Day 7: Bishkek - Europe
You will be met in the hotel and transferred to the International Airport of Manas.
