Tajik melody Tour 3

Day 1: Dushanbe - Hissor - Dushanbe
Upon arrival guide will meet and accompany you Dushanbe. Here you will have a city tour where you will see sights like Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. In course of the travel you will visit National Park you will take photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world the size of which is 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Later on you will be transferred to visit Hisor fortress of VII-XVII centuries. This sight is encircled by strong walls 1 m thick and loopholes for guns and cannons. The fortress served as the residence of the delegate of Bukhara's Emir. Inside of it you can witness three mains of a pool and a garden, and in front of the fortress there was a busy market square with caravanserais and shops. Moreover you will see tw3o significant towers at the entrance gate. Here you also can enjoy the recently renovated monuments of "Madrasa I Kuhna" dated back 16th-17th centuries, mosque; the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" of 16th century. Then you will return to Dushanbe. Night is in a hotel.

Day 2: Dushanbe - Norak - Kalai Khum
In course of the tour you will travel to Kalai Khum village. On the way to it you will have a break to witness the Norak water reservoir that is also well known as Tajik Sea. The road will go through the Shuraba pass on the altitude of 2 267 m and after drive along Afghanistan border starts. The route of the tour will impress you be the breathtaking views of the Pamir mountains. This sight was explored by such great people like Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. In this travel you will have an opportunity to do it as well. You will drive along natural border - Pyanj River. Those ho had been there said that the Pamirs are highly mountain system the ocean of white and blue mountains. This night you will spend in a home stay to see the way of local people's life.

Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
In the morning you will have to drive to Khorog. This city is known to be one of the smallest cities on the world's map. Upon arrival you will witness the fusion of three rivers, where the Shokhdara River and Ghund River flow into Pyanj River as well as mountains that encircled it.  During the route to Khorog you can meet Pamir people that are known to be the second highest mountains population in the world. The appearance of the people is slightly different from Tajiks. You will see people with blond hair, fair skin and blue eyes. Life in the mountains made traditions of local people different from Tajik people. Overnight is in guest house.

Day 4: Khorog - Langar
Today you will have a tour to the next destination. Langar village can be found in the heart of Asia. In Pamir you can fully enjoy highly mountains, pristine waters of lakes and rivers, wide valleys and dry deserts. For many years people called this place as the "Roof of the World." This sight is known to be located on the altitude of  3,500 to 4,200 meters above sea level. The Pamir is perhaps one of the few areas of Central Asia where ancient ethnic and cultural characteristics of the Pamir people exist. But by being isolated for many years this people have different dialects as well as different languages. On the way you will have a lot of opportunities to see many interesting wonders as well as Buddhist complex of 4-7 centuries stands above the village of Vrang that is situated on on a slope of a rock dug out by caves. In Langar we will visit Abreshim Kala (Silk Fortress). Overnight is in home stay.

Day 5: Langar - Yashil Kul Lake - Bulunkul Lake - Murgab
Today you will have a tour to wonderful sight that the Pamir mountains possess. Yashil Kul and Bulunkul (Blue lakes) can be found on the altitude of 3 700 meters above sea level in the Murghab district. You will be impressed by the view of the surface of water that becomes fabulous on the sunlight. There are many fish species in the lake. In addition there will be possibility to witness domestic animals, sharing features of cow and sheep, traditionally used as a beast of burden apart from giving milk and meat products - yaks. You will drive through Khargush pass on altitude of 4 344 m. Overnight is in a guesthouse.

Day 6: Murgab - Khorog 
The route to Khorog will lays via Pamir Highway well known as M41 Pamir Tract. Tours to this place are popular due to the fact that this is the second highest mountainous road after Tibet's highway. The road of this travel will go on the altitude of 4 271 m of Koitezak pass. Then to being isolated many exceptional diversity of wildlife can be found here. Here can be easily found tiger-cat, grizzly bear, badger, stoat, fox, grey and red wolves. The Pamir provides a large and prosperous flock of sheep Marco Polo, the largest sheep in the world, with a year-round stay and a large population of endangered snow leopard. Night is in guest house.

Day 7: Khorog - Kalai Khum  
The road to Kalai Khum will be the same as you had before. Due to being on the altitude of over 6 000 meters that was possible to built only 1 road. Dring the way you will have n opportunity to learn great amount of information about ethnography, history and everyday life of mountain dwellers and with this imagine how the history of humanity evolved as in the story of creation. On the way you will have an opportunity to meet local people that will tell you more about their lifestyle. They can be found on the both sides of the river in narrow mountain valleys. On the other side of the river you will see Afgan stony villages and gardens. Night is in a hotel.

Day 8: Kalai Khum - Khoburubot - Dushanbe
Today your destination is Dushanbe city that can be reach through Khoburubot Pass which altitude is 3 252 that lays on Western Pamir Tract. During the travel you can enjoy the picturesque views of river valley and amazing gorges in the terrain as well as taking a lot of photos of the mountain and rivers. You will see a lot of village where you can see Tajik people by doing so you will notice that they are hardworking, hospitable, and kind-hearted people. Even now they are respectful to traditions and folklore. Such tour is really good for those who love of exotics, curious about the ethnic and cultural differences and fascinated by the beauty of wild nature. Night is in a hotel.

Day 9: Dushanbe - Iskanderkul Lake
In course of the tour you will be transferred to see the alpine lake that is known by its incredible beauty Iskanderkul Lake. This lake can be found in Fann Mountains on the altitude of 2 255 m. a. s. l.  This sight is known to be one of the best for hiking and resting. The road to this attraction will go through Anzob pass of 3 372 m. During the way you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the nature. Upon arrival you will explore its beach as well as see waterfall by having a walk for 40 minutes. Tajikistan takes the second place among the CIS countries for volume of water resources: it has the highest water reserves of all Central Asian countries with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. Night is in a guesthouse.

Day 10: Iskanderkul - Dushanbe
Today you will drive back to Dushanbe through Anzob pass and tunnel of Isticlol. By driving by this road you will be able to take a lot of photos. In addition you will have an opportunity to hike at the Fann Mountains. In the past this these mountains used to call as "Kuhistan" that is known as Mountainous Country from Farsi. You will be impressed by the fact that in Fann mountains it can be found at least 30 virgin lakes of different size and forms. A lot of tourists come here to have a trekking and hiking tours. Many tourists like to come and do trekking and climbing activities. This place has rich flora and fauna which is unique and diverse. You will have a chance to enjoy great views around and have a wonderful time. After it is transfer to Dushanbe. Night is in a hotel.
